The Medically Monitored Residential program consists of intensive medical and psychiatric monitoring within our residential substance use program that helps serve Health Share members who are not stable enough for a direct admit into our residential program because they need more medical or psychiatric stabilization, but don’t require the intensity of medical services and monitoring that an inpatient hospitalization treatment episode involves. These individuals are high utilizers of medical and psychiatric hospital services and often are unable to care for their medical and psychiatric needs after discharge due to their substance use.
