Programs for Youth

Adult clients (18 and over) access services at our downtown Portland facility or in Hillsboro. Youth clients, ages 13-18, receive services at our Youth & Family Center in NE Portland or in Hillsboro. The downtown Portland facility and the Youth & Family Center also provide treatment for co-occurring mental health issues.

All programs begin with an assessment that enables us to recommend the appropriate level of care for each individual client. Treatment levels are based on American Society of Addiction Medicine’s (ASAM) PPC II-R criteria.

Every client at De Paul creates an individual treatment plan that is tailored to his/her specific needs and goals. Counselors work closely with clients to ensure that progress is made. De Paul uses practices that are evidence-based, meaning they have research to support their effectiveness.
