De Paul Treatment Centers is pleased to announce and welcome Christina Bertschi, née ODoherty, MS, NCC, QMHP, as the organization’s new Youth and Family Program Manager. Christina holds a B.S. in Counseling, Education Development Psychology and an M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Washington University and has over 15 years of experience working with youth diagnosed with mental health conditions. She joins De Paul from the Oregon Department of Corrections where she provided therapy, developed programs, and served on the wellness committee for the state.
Christina has extensive experience developing programs for youth. She has worked for the states of Washington, Virginia, California, and Oregon doing utilization management, developing group curriculum, designing and implementing individual and group therapy programs and providing counseling for individuals, groups, and families.
Christina will oversee our residential counseling and educational services for De Paul’s Northeast Youth and Family Center, a residential treatment program providing substance use and mental health services for youth age 13-18. Maree Wacker, Chief Executive Officer, states “Christina has a strong vision for De Paul’s program and her leadership qualities will assure Oregonians have an important resource when facing the challenge of addiction in youth.”
